Truth Proof Report 80 - red light in the sky

05.10 out with Tyler our labrador early this morning.
A red flashing light either single or a tight cluster of 2 or 3
going at a fair speed along the moorland ridge above Buckstones
Road in Shaw, Oldham, Lancashire.
Helicopter sounds
are normally heard when flying at that distance from my
observation point which was Crompton Way, Shaw. But it seemed to
be silent. Duration of sighting approx 10 seconds and the object
was suddenly out of sight.
Helicopter lights
normally recede gradually until out of sight. Weather conditions
overcast but extremely cold, dry and windy. No Moon. Direction
of travel was Northerly. No physical effects from the
sighting.
